Biography
Nisha P. Joy is a psychologist and PhD Scholar in Educational Psychology at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. She holds a Master's degree in Applied Psychology (Clinical Psychology specialization) from the Central University of Tamil Nadu, where she graduated with second rank. With experience across clinical, educational, and community mental health settings, she has worked as an Assistant Professor of Psychology, Guest Lecturer, Psychologist in child care institutions, and mental health professional supporting children, adolescents, and families. Her areas of expertise include adolescent mental health, mindfulness-based interventions, socio-emotional learning, resilience, parenting support, and psychological assessment. She has received professional training in Mindfulness, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Art Therapy, and is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate, and culturally sensitive psychological care. At Kintsugi, she works towards promoting emotional well-being and helping individuals and families build resilience through holistic, person-centred interventions.
