Biography
Dr. Muhsina Lubaiba is a psychologist, educator, researcher, and parenting coach with nearly 20 years of experience in psychology, mental health, higher education, and child development. She is passionate about making quality psychological care accessible through compassionate, evidence-based, and culturally responsive practice. She holds a PhD in Psychology from Mahatma Gandhi University, an M.A. in Applied Psychology from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and an M.A. in Education from the University of South Wales, UK. She is also a Licensed Play Therapist through the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy (UK). Throughout her career, Dr. Muhsina has served as a psychologist in healthcare, held academic leadership positions including Head of the Department of Psychology, contributed to curriculum development as a Board of Studies member, and worked closely with schools, families, and communities to strengthen mental health and emotional wellbeing. Her experience spans psychological counselling, child and adolescent mental health, parenting support, trauma-informed care, play therapy, school mental health programmes, and professional training. As the founder of Kintsugi, her vision is to create spaces where children, adolescents, adults, and families can heal, grow, and rediscover their strengths through holistic psychological care that honours every person's unique story.
